Caitlin Morris

About me

Caitlin graduated from Imperial College London in 2016 with an MSci degree in physics, including master’s modules in computational neuroscience, general relativity, information theory, and advanced hydrodynamics. Her research involved designing hardware and optical diagnostic systems, and using computational analysis, to study shocks in high energy density plasma formed in the MAGPIE pulsed power generator.

Caitlin’s practice focusses upon drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the UK and European Patent Offices. She also has experience in prosecuting patent applications in other jurisdictions, such as the US, China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. Caitlin has particular experience in the technology areas of semiconductor devices, sensors, optics, medical devices, microfluidics, additive manufacturing, and computer software.

Caitlin joined Marks & Clerk in January 2017 as a Trainee Patent Attorney and qualified as a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney in 2021
