M&C in the news: 'Mind the Gap' in your filing strategy

Transport for London’s (TfL) recent attempt to trademark the iconic ‘Mind the Gap’ warning announcement, familiar to London Underground passengers, has been opposed by global fashion brand Gap, which claims prior rights to the word “Gap”.

This isn't the first legal battle between the two —they previously reached a settlement agreement in 2004.
