Noëlle is an Associate and Registered and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney (UK). She is also a South African Qualified Lawyer and Trade Mark Attorney (non-practising). Noëlle became fully qualified in the UK in 2021 after relocating to Scotland from South Africa in 2019.
Noëlle specialises in intellectual property law, with a strong focus in trade mark contentious and non-contentious matters. She has also had experience in copyright and unlawful competition matters. Noëlle’s experience varies from trade mark searching, filing and prosecution to all aspects of brand/trade mark enforcement including oppositions, cancellation proceedings and infringements, advertising complaints, social media complaints, domain name disputes and company name objections.
Noëlle has acted for a broad range of clients in various sectors including multinational automotive corporations, agricultural technology businesses, mining and engineering companies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage manufacturers, various retail brands and clients within the fashion and sporting sector. Noëlle now acts for a broad range of clients based in Scotland with a particular focus within the Food and Beverage, Sports and Entertainment, and Fashion and Retail sectors.
Prior to joining Marks & Clerk, Noëlle worked for a boutique IP law firm in South Africa.
