Mitch is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney with an engineering focus.
Mitch has particular experience in the fields of turbomachinery, manufacturing, automotive and aerospace engineering, logistics, packaging and general mechanical engineering.
Mitch has experience of drafting and prosecuting applications before the UK and European Patent Offices. Mitch’s practice also includes prosecuting applications across a wide range of Patent Offices throughout the world, and particularly in the US and China. Mitch also has experience of providing clearance opinions and effectively managing large IP portfolios.
Mitch joined Marks & Clerk in 2015 after graduating from the University of Southampton with a first class honours Masters in Mechanical Engineering. During university, Mitch worked for innovation and consultancy firm Cambridge Consultants Ltd, and undertook an internship in Manufacturing Engineering at Rolls-Royce plc.
Mitch dual qualified as a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney in 2019.
