An absolutely fascinating read, this report from Innovate UK sets out technologies which might be expected to disrupt, innovate, and improve our lives within the next 15-20 years. None are absolutely new, and some date back many years - I remember reading the original Adleman paper on molecular computing back in the 1990s; and don't even ask me to remember how many science fiction books I've seen some of these concepts in - but all have great potential. The full report presents an optimistic view of the near future.
