George graduated from the University of Oxford in 2018 with a first class MEng in Materials Science. His final year research project focused on the additive manufacture of metamaterials used for communication systems.
Thereafter, George worked in industry at UKAEA as a Materials Researcher, specialised in determining the effects of extreme conditions, such as temperature, irradiation and stress, on the functional and structural properties of materials. This research resulted in a publication to a peer-reviewed journal: Corrosion Science.
He joined Marks & Clerk in September 2019 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Oxford office.
