Ann Mei Chang is a prominent figure in the tech world; as an engineer and tech expert, her career includes leadership roles at top organisations like Google, where she was Senior Engineering Director, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). She has a number of patents to her name, including US8261258B1, and is author of the book “Lean Impact – How to Innovate for Radically Greater Social Good”.
Ann Mei Chang is also known for her advocacy of diversity, inclusion, and social impact. As an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, she has been a strong supporter of initiatives aimed at providing a platform for underrepresented voices, particularly in the technology sector, and has presented at conferences including TedX-MidAtlantic and Lesbians Who Tech.
