Earlier this year, I was delighted to announce my involvement in Marks & Clerk’s LGBT+ employee network, a new initiative aimed at increasing visibility and fostering connections among our LGBT+ employees. Last month’s meeting brought together a brilliant cohort of LGBT+ employees and allies from a variety of roles across our business. During the hour-long session, attendees shared their personal experiences within the firm, discussed how we can proactively support LGBT+ employees, and brainstormed ideas for future social activities. The enthusiasm and positive feedback highlighted the strong need for such a network within our business. I’m extremely grateful for the help of my fellow organisers Shannon Robb, Sue Bradley, and Joni Chapman in making this a reality.
