IWD kicks off!

As the father of two football crazy daughters (and a third that enjoys a bit of hockey) I am thrilled to see this announcement from the UK government. 

While football and the Lionesses have rightly taken the headlines this morning, it’s not just about football, of course. As coach of a girls cricket team, I see first hand what passion girls bring to the game and further engagement through schools can only be a good thing.

Hopefully this will be the step change that drives girls sport forward in the UK.
